About

Interdisciplinary Themes is dedicated to the scholarly promotion of interdisciplinary exchange, dialogue, and research development. We offer conferences, symposia, and a publishing program to support interdisciplinary thinking. Our aim is to bring scholars from across the globe together to share in dialogue about the disciplines and how they intersect.

Conference Coordinator: Dr. Christian Riegel is Director of the Humanities Research Institute, University of Regina, and Head of the Department of English at Campion College, University of Regina. He works on mourning and memorial in literature,  contemporary Canadian and American writing, and as a creative writer.  He also does collaborative interdisciplinary research on literary language, cognition, and new technologies. He teaches poetry, Holocaust Studies, and Canadian writing.

Project Coordinator: Dr. Katherine Robinson is the founder of the Mathematical Cognition Centre and an Associate Professor at Campion College, University of Regina. She works in the area of children’s cognitive development with a specialization in mathematical cognition. She is also involved in collaborative, interdisciplinary research on literary language, cognition, and new technologies. She teaches in the areas of developmental psychology, research ethics, and Holocaust Studies.
